Dr. Matthew Basch

Dr. Matthew Basch was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University in 2020 and went on to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University in 2025. Inspired by his father's career in human medicine, Dr. Basch developed a passion for veterinary care early in life, fueled by growing up with a variety of dogs and reptiles in his family home. 

Dr. Basch's veterinary interests include surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and pain management. When he is not in the clinic, Dr. Basch enjoys staying physically active, following sports, and spending time with his dog and cat, Dexter and Midnight.
